On June 26th, 2020 at Health and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (HAPRI) office, Dr. Thắng Võ, and Dr. Giáp Nguyễn had the honor to welcome Mr. Aru David, Regional Director of Assist Asia of the Mekong Area (Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand).
During the project meeting, representatives from both sides disused the current and future partnerships in developing a platform to connect European and ASEAN think tanks with a focus on solving related social-economic problems of the South East Asia region.
Asian Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST Asia) was established in 2003 as a three-person NGO in the Philippines. As a development organization in Asia, ASSIST Asia goal is to empower the target groups and make them resilient to the social, economic, and environmental challenges.
